በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ በየዓመቱ 237 ሚሊየን የመድሃኒት ማዘዣዎች ላይ ስህተቶች ይፈጸማሉ፡፡

በመድኃኒት ቤት ባለሙያዎች፣ ሀኪሞች፣ የቤት ለቤት የጤና አገልሎት ሰጪ ባለሙዎች ስህተቱ እንደሚፈጸም የተገለጸ ሲሆን÷ በአማካይ ከአምስት የመድሃኒት ማዘዣዎች አንዱ ላይ ስህተት እንደሚፈጸም ነው የተገለጸው፡፡

በዚህም ህሙማኑ የተዛባ የመድሃኒት መጠን እንዲወሱዱ ካማድረጉ ባሻገር ከበሽታቸው ጋር ምንም ግንኙነት የሌላቸው መድሀኒቶችን ሊወስዱ እንደሚችሉ ታውቋል፡፡

የዘረፉ ጥናት እንደሚያመለክተው ከላይ ከተጠቀሰው አሃዝ አንድ አራተኛ ያህሉ ስህተት ለከፋ ጤና ጉዳት የሚዳርግ መሆኑ ተነግሯል፡፡

ለዚህ ስህተት ከሚዳርጉ ምክንያቶች መካከል በትክክል ለማንበብ የሚስቸገሩ የእጅ ጽሁፎችና የተለያዩ መድሃኒቶች ስም ተቀራራቢ መሆን ተነስተዋል፡፡

ለምሳሌ ያህል በብሪታኒያ ግላስጎው በተባለው አካባቢ በአይን ድርቀት ችግር ወደ ህክምና የሄዱት እናት ቪታ- ፖስ የተባለ የአይን ጠብታ ይታዘዝላቸዋል፡፡

ይሁን እንጂ መድሃኒቲ ቤት ሲሄዱ “ኢሬክታይል ዳይስ ክሬም” የተባለ ወሲብ አነቃቂ ቅባት መሰጠታቸው ተገልጿል፡፡

ይህንን መዲሃኒት የተጠቀሙት ሴት እይታቸው እየተዳከመ መሄዱና የአይናቸው ሽፋን በማበጡ ለከፋ ዐይን ህመም መዳረጋቸውን ዘገበው ያስረዳል፡፡

በዚህም ወደፊት የመዳሃኒት ማዘዣዎችን በእጅ ከመፃፍ ይልቅ ኮምፒውተርን ጨምሮ በሌሎች የመፃፊያ መሳሪዎች ደመቅ ብለው በትክክል መፃፍ እንዳለባቸው ነው የተገለጸው፡፡

በዚህም ወደፊት የመዳሃኒት ማዘዣዎችን በእጅ ከመፃፍ ይልቅ ኮምፒውተርን ጨምሮ በሌሎች የመፃፊያ መሳሪዎች ደመቅ ብለው በትክክል መፃፍ እንዳለባቸው ነው የተገለጸው፡፡
