•ማህበራዊና ስሜታዊ ነገሮች / Social and Emotional የሚያዉቀዉንና እንግዳ የሆነን ሰዉ ፊት መለየት መቻል

• ከሌሎች ሰዎች በተለይ ከቤተሰቦቹ ጋር መጫወት መዉደድ/መፈለግ

• የሌሎች ሰዎች ስሜት መረዳትና ምላሽ መስጠት መቻል/ ደስተኛ መሆን

• እራስን መስታወት ውስጥ ማየት መዉደድ ቋንቋ /መግባባት (Language/Communication)

• ድምፅ ሲሰማ ምላሽ ድምፅ በማዉጣት መመለስ መቻል

•ባብል ሲያደርግ አሃ፤ኢህ/ኦሆ አናባቢ ድምፆችን ማዉጣት መቻልና ከቤተሰቦቹ ጋር ድምፅ በማዉጣት ማዉራት መቻል

• በስሙ ሲጠራ ምላሽ መስጠት መቻል

• የመደሰት/ያለመደሰት ስሜቱን ድምፅ በማዉጣት መግለፅ መሞከር

•ተደጋጋሚ የሆኑ ድምፆችን ለማለት መሞከር (በመ እና በ የሚጀምሩ)

• አዕምሮያዊ/ Cognitive (የመማር፣ የማሰብና ችግርን መፍታት መቻል)

• በዙሪያዉ ያሉ ቅርብ የሆኑ ነገሮችን ማየት መቻል

• ነገሮችን ወደ አፉ መዉሰድ መቻል

• ነገሮችን ለማወቅ መፈለግና ሊደርስባቸዉ የማይችላቸዉን ነገሮች ለመያዝ መጣር

• ከአንድ እጁ ወደ ሌለኛዉ እጁ እቃዎችን ማዘዋወር መቻል
እንቅስቃሴ/ አካላዊ እድገት/ Movement/Physical Development

• ወደ ሁለቱም አቅጣጫ መገለባበጥ መቻል (ከፊት ወደ ጀርባና ከጀርባ ወደ ፊት)

• ያለ ድጋፍ መቀመጥ መቻል

• ሲቆም ክብደቱን በእግሮቹ ለመሸከም መሞከርና ለመንጠር መሞከር

በዚህ እድሜ ልጅዎ የሚከተሉትን መተግበር ካልቻለ የህክምና ባለሙዎን በወቅቱ ያማክሩ፡፡

• በቅርበት ያሉ ነገሮችን ለመዉሰድ/ለመያዝ የማይችል ከሆነ
• ለሚንከባከቡት ሰዎች ምንም አይነት የፍቅር ስሜት የማይታይበት ከሆነ

• በዙሪያዉ ላሉ ድምፆች ምንም ምላሽ የማይሰጥ ከሆነ

• ነገሮችን(መጫወቻን ጨምሮ) ወደ አፉ መዉሰድ የማይችል ከሆነ

• አናባቢ የሆነ ድምፆችን የማያወጣ ከሆነ (አሃ፤ኢህ/ኦሆ)

• መገለባበጥ የማይችል ከሆነ( ወደ ሁለቱም አቅጣጫ)

• የማይስቅ ከሆነ

• ግትር/ጥንክር ያለ ጡንቻዎች ካሉት ናቸዉ፡፡

በተለይ የመጀመሪያ ልጅ የወለዱ ወላጆች በየጊዜው ‘ምን ለውጥ እንጠብቅ?’ በሚል ሃሳብ ይጨነቃሉ። የልጃቸው እድገት የሚጠበቀውን ያህል መሆን አለመሆኑ በጣም ያሳስባቸዋል።
